Our Employees Set Our Company Apart
Aqua-Lawn is most proud of our dedicated team of employees who put our customers first. For our technicians, their career path includes receiving a Select Certified designation from the Irrigation Association. Each technician goes through State required irrigation/plumbing training annually to receive/retain full state licensing. Irrigation is a licensed trade in Connecticut. We are proud license holders and continue to have registered apprentices.
It’s A Family Affair
We are also a family-owned and operated business in every aspect. Lou and Diane Toth started Aqua-Lawn, Inc. in 1972.
Through the years, while growing the business and working tirelessly, they also raised 3 girls. Currently, one of their daughters, Amy Geckeler and one of their grandsons, Greg Sweeney, assist in the daily operations of the family business. In addition to the daily operations, our clients have the pleasure of meeting another 3rd generation family member, Logan Stein, who maintains their systems. Best of all, all of our employees are considered part of the family.
We are active and dedicated leaders in our industry promoting honesty, integrity and high-quality installations. Lou Toth is Past President of the national Irrigation Association. Diane Toth is past president of the Connecticut Irrigation Contractors Association (CICA – is Connecticut’s organization for Irrigation Contractors). Greg Sweeney is the current President of the CICA and represents the business and industry sector on the Connecticut State Water Planning Council Advisory Committee. The IA is committed to Efficient Irrigation and the CICA (an affiliate organization) promotes excellence in irrigation.

Each service visit is scheduled through our software tracking system and sent to the crews in the field. Technicians are assigned and routed based upon availability and past experience with your property. Our Technicians use their tablets to direct them to your site and respond appropriately to your request.
